Earthquake in Turkey
People dying and a country divided. This earthquake came at the wrong time and the people are suffering. A lot of the GOP candidates said we shouldn't give aid to foreign countries. Do you really think we shouldn't help the Turks in this time?
It was a 7.2 earthquake that hit and at least 138 people are dead.
Our thoughts are with them in these tragic circumstance.

Another Earthquake: Chile
Another Earthquake has struck, this time in Chile:
A massive magnitude 8.8 earthquake rocked Chile early Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, killing at least 147 people and triggering tsunami warnings for the entire Pacific basin.I'll post if there is an update on the tsunami...Tragic though.

Still Life
A man was rescued 27 days after being trapped in the rubble caused by the earthquake in Haiti:
The family of Evan Muncie reportedly told doctors at a Port-au-Prince hospital yesterday that the 28-year-old had been trapped in the wreckage of a market since the quake.A very sick story.
His apparent recovery is all the more remarkable as the Haitian government declared an end to search and rescue operations on 23 January, 16 days before Muncie was reportedly found.

Frightening Images of Looting
In Haiti
There seems to be no control over the distribution of supplies. It's every man for himself. It's all about survival. It's like the whole world is using a Darwin experiment on Haiti. It's kind of disturbing seeing people getting this on camera and not helping the people.
